چکیده
The Prime Power Conjecture (PPC) states that abelian planar diierence sets of order n exist only for n a prime power. Evans and Mann 2] veriied this for cyclic diierence sets for n 1600. In this paper we verify the PPC for n 2;000;000, using many necessary conditions on the group of multipliers.

The Prime Power Conjecture is True for
The Prime Power Conjecture (PPC) states that abelian planar difference sets of order n exist only for n a prime power. Evans and Mann [1] verified this for cyclic difference sets for n ≤ 1600. In this paper we use the Mann test to verify the PPC for n ≤ 2, 000, 000.

متن کاملCorrigenda and addition to "Computer verification of the Ankeny-Artin-Chowla conjecture for all primes less than 100 000 000 000"
An error in the program for verifying the Ankeny-Artin-Chowla (AAC) conjecture is reported. As a result, in the case of primes p which are ≡ 5 mod 8, the AAC conjecture has been verified using a different multiple of the regulator of the quadratic field Q(√p) than was meant. However, since any multiple of this regulator is suitable for this purpose, provided that it is smaller than 8p, the main...
متن کاملComputer verification of the Ankeny-Artin-Chowla Conjecture for all primes less than 100 000 000 000
Let p be a prime congruent to 1 modulo 4, and let t, u be rational integers such that (t + u √ p )/2 is the fundamental unit of the real quadratic field Q(√p ). The Ankeny-Artin-Chowla conjecture (AAC conjecture) asserts that p will not divide u. This is equivalent to the assertion that p will not divide B(p−1)/2, where Bn denotes the nth Bernoulli number. Although first published in 1952, this...
متن کاملThe Main Eigenvalues of the Undirected Power Graph of a Group
The undirected power graph of a finite group $G$, $P(G)$, is a graph with the group elements of $G$ as vertices and two vertices are adjacent if and only if one of them is a power of the other. Let $A$ be an adjacency matrix of $P(G)$. An eigenvalue $lambda$ of $A$ is a main eigenvalue if the eigenspace $epsilon(lambda)$ has an eigenvector $X$ such that $X^{t}jjneq 0$, where $jj$ is the all-one...
